ITC-International Institute for Aerospace Survey and Earth Sciences
Çevreye yönelik, arazi kullanımı ve yer yapısı hakkındaki araştırma ve inceleme konularına ağırlık verir. Daha çok , teknolojinin gelişmekte olan ülkelere transferine büyük ağırlık verir.

USGS- US Geological Survey
Dünyanın tanınması ve tanıtılması, doğal afetlerin irdelenmesi, su, biyoloji, enerji, doğal kaynakların tespiti ve çevreyi korumaya yönelik birçok konuda bilimsel araştırma yapmaktadır.  

ESRI-Environmental Systems Research Institute Inc.
Yazılım geliştirme ve yazılım yüklenmesi, desteği, veri tabanı tasarım uygulamaları, programlama ve veri tabanı otomasyonu ile ilgilenen uluslararası bir firmadır. ARC adı ile ifade edilen birçok yazılım üretmiştir. Aryıca oluşturduğu "Virtual Campus" ile İnternet üzerinden dünya çapında CBS eğitimi vermektedir.
